The app can't find the edges of my page
Put the document on a surface a different colour from the paper and keep the whole page in frame. You can always drag the four corners yourself — the automatic detection is only a starting point.
The camera won't open
iOS asks for camera permission the first time. If you declined, open Settings → Local Pro PDF → Camera and turn it on. You can also scan a photo you already took, with Choose from Photos.
Where did my PDF go?
After Save PDF the iOS share sheet opens: choose Save to Files, or send it straight to Mail, Messages or any other app. Nothing is stored anywhere else.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Edge detection, straightening, enhancement and PDF assembly all run on the phone. Turn on airplane mode and scan — it works exactly the same.
Do you see my documents?
No. There is no account, no upload and no server that receives your pages. See the privacy page for the details.
